골성형술을 이용한 전두동 이물 치험 1례

The definite treatment of frontal sinus problems, severe recurrent frontal sinusitis, frontal sinus mucocele or pyocele, and less commonly frontal sinus foreign body, is surgical management. And various surgical methods are used according to severity, site and nature of the problems. Recently endoscopic frontal sinus surgery affords the potential clinical significance for reducing operative morbidity of surgery and relieving the difficulty of diagnosis of recurrent disease. But, the limitation of endoscopic frontal sinus surgery is present in case of wide spread frontal sinus lesion, and osteoplastic frontal sinus surgery has been used because provides excellent frontal sinus exposure and shows little recurrence rate.

We used osteoplastic frontal sinus surgery, in one case of foreign body in frontal sinus which was not improved after endoscopic frontal sinus surgery, And we had good results in this case.
