ABSTRACT

Primary tumors of the brachial plexus are unusual. Particularly unusual is a benign solitary schwannoma of the brachial plexus. The authors recently experienced a schwannoma of the neck in a 43 year old male patient presenting neck mass and radiating pain to arm. The tumor was successfully removed using clavicular splitting under general anesthesia and it is histologically proven as a schwannoma.
