요약

자기 청 력 계 기 검사 (Bekesy audiometry, automatic audiometry, tracking audiometry) 는 1947년 Bekesy가 고안하여 “A new audiome-ter”로 소개한 이후 1952년 Reger가 임상용 자기청력계를 만들어 개선시키고 발전시켰다. 1952년 Reger와 Kos는 Bekesy 기계를 이용하 여 제8 뇌신경종양 환자에서 비정상적으로 나 타난 급속한 일과성 역치변동 (rapid temporary threshold shift)을 관찰하였고，시간이 지 나면서 후미로성 병 변 (retrocochlear patho-logy)을 검사하는데 대중화되었다
