요약

세포고사 (Apoptosis)는 세포가 죽을때 이 미 준비된 상황에서 사망 프로그램을 가동시킴으 로써 능동적으로 죽음을 맞이한다는 개념이다. 세포의 괴사를 수동적 인 사고사 (accidental death) 라고 본다면 세포고사는 자연사 (natu-ral death)로써 능동적이면서 자발적인 사망기 전이다³⁵⁾.
