요약

전정기능검사의 목적은 현기중을 호소하는 환자에서 그 원인이 전정계와 관계가 있는 것 인지, 그 중에서도 미로나 전정신경 혹은 중추 전정계 부위의 장해인지, 장해의 정도가 어느 정도이지, 어떤 종류의 장해인지 둥을 알고자 함이다. 자발안진과는 달리 유발안진(誘發眼振, evoked nystagmus) 은 전정미로의 자극 (입력 : 온도, 회전, 전기, 압박，두부진동 둥의 자극)과 반응(출력 : 안진)의 양적관계를 밝히 는 것으로 미로기능의 상태를 알고자 하는 것 이다. 최근 컴퓨터의 비약적 발전으로 입력과 출력을 모두 효과적으로 분석하여 임상에 이 용하고 있다. 저자는 유발안진의 검사법중 회 전검사, 전기안진검사, 누공검사 및 두진안진 검사에 대해서 설명하고자 한다.
