ABSTRACT

Schwannoma is a tumor of Schwann cell origin arising from nerves covered with a neurilemmal scheath. The incidence of the tumor in the head and neck is about 30%, with many of these occurring in the parapharyngeal space. We report a case of Schwannoma in the parapharyngeal space and discuss the pertinent literatures.
