요약

후두암 수술은 1873년 Billroth가 후두암 치료로 후 두전적출술을 시행한 이후 후두암 치료에 있어 가장 중 요한 치료법이 되었으나 수술 후 발성을 못하는 것이 가장 큰 문제점이었다. 1950년대 이후 후두전적출술 대 신 암의 진행 정도에 따라 후두부분절제술이 도입되었 으며, 최근에는 치료 후 생길 수 있는 다양한 정도의 연 하와 발성의 문제를 치료 방법을 선택하는데 고려하게 되었다. 후두암 수술 후 연하 및 발성장애의 정도는 암 의 진행 정도, 수술적 치료 방법과 수술 후 재활치료 여 부에 따라 달라질 수 있으며 후두부분절제술 후에는 흡 인을 방지하는 연하 재활이 문제가 되고, 후두전적출술 후에는 발성 재활이 중요한 문제가 된다.
