요약

후두 주입술 (vocal fold injection) 은 주사 바늘을 통 하여 성대조직에 특정 물질을 주입하는 모든 행위를 통 칭한다스 후두 주입술에는 성문 폐쇄 부전의 교정을 위 하여 성대조직 사이의 공간을 채울 수 있는 물질을 주입 하는 후두 주입 성형술(injection laryngoplasty) 뿐만 아 니라 성대 유두종의 치료를 위한 항바이러스제 주입, 성 대 결절 등 성대양성점막질환 치료를 위한 스테로이드 주입, 연축성 발성 장애 등 성대 내근의 과도한 긴장과 수축을 제한하기 위한 보툴리늄 독소 주입 등이 포함된 다. 본 종설에서는 후두의 보툴리늄 독소 주입에 주목하 여, 현재까지 이루어지고 있는 다양한 임상적 적용에 대 해서 고찰하였다.
