요약

의료 수준이 발전하고 평균 수명이 길어지면서 노인 인 구가 크게 증가하였다. 국내 통계청에 의하면 2013년 고 령자는 전체 인구의 12.2%로 65세 고령인구가 이미 600 만명을 돌파하였으며，매년 증가하는 추세이다.¹⁾ 통계청 은 2030년에는 65세 고령인구가 전체 인구의 24.3%까지 증가할 것으로 전망하였으며 곧 초고령화 사회로의 진입 이 예상된다 (Fig. 1).
