요약

2012 년 국가암등록사업 연례보고서에 의하면，2010년 갑상선암은 남녀를 합쳐서 36,021건 발생하였고，전체 암 발생의 17.8%를 차지하였다. 남자에서는 연 6,231건 발 생하여 남성에서 발생하는 암 중 6위였고，여자에서는 연 29,790건 발생하여 여성에서 발생하는 암 중 1위였다.¹⁾
