아데노이드 제거술 후 비음도의 변화

ABSTRACT

Background and Objectives: The changes of voice occurred occasionally after adenoidectomy. This study was designed to estimate the postoperative changes of voice in terms of nasalance by using nasometer. Materials and Methods: Data of thirty patients who underwent adenoidectomy were evaluated. Visual analogue scale and nasalance test was performed preoperative, postoperative 1week and 1month. Results: Postoperative patients’ subjective symptoms were improved. Postoperative mean nasalance results showed statistically significant increase in lweeks after adenoidectomy. And the postoperative lmonth state show no significant changes compared to the preoperative state. Conclusions: The increase of the nasalance after adenoidectomy is temporary. But operator have to consider cautiously the change of the patient’s voice. (J Clinical Otolaryngol 2013;24:62–65)
