요약

성대주입술이란 성대에 특정 물질을 주입함으로써 성대마비 등 성대부전에 인한 불완전한 성문의 폐쇄를 교정하는 시술로서 이상적인 성대 내 주입물질은 ⑴ 주 입절차가 쉽고 간단할 것 ⑵ 이물반응 등 면역반응이 적 거나 없을 것 ⑶ 주입한 물질이 흡수되거나 변성되지 말 것 ⑷ 주입위치가 잘못되거나 필요 이상으로 과량이 주 입된 경우 이의 제거가 용이할 것 (5) 성대고유의 점성 및 탄성과 유사할 것 등의 특성을 갖추어야 한다.^1,2) 이외에 도 성대 주입물질은 주로 국소마취 하에 경피적 또는 경 구적으로 시행하는 경우가 많기 때문에 27게이지(gauge)의 바늘로도 쉽게 주사가 가능하면서, 외래에서 쉽게 사용할 수 있도록 복잡한 준비과정이 필요해서는 안된다.²⁾
