요약

인후두역류질환(laryngopharyngeal reflux disease, LPRD)온 위 내용물이 인후두 부위나 상부 위장관 쪽으 로 역류되어 나타나는 질환으로 Koufman이 1991년 위 식도역류질환(gastroesophageal reflux disease, GERD) 의 이비인후과적 증상에 대해 보고하였고¹⁾ 2002년 미국 이비 인후과의사협회 (the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery)에서 처음으로 이 용어가 채택되었다²⁾
