ABSTRACT
The mucocele is a chronic, cystic lesion of the paranasal sinuses, which is lined with pseudostratified or low-columnar epithelium containing occasional goblet cells.
With increasing size, bony erosion occurs, and the mucocele extends outside the sinus. The findings and symptoms associated with a mucocele depend on its location and the extend of bony erosion.
We experienced a case of mucocele in ethmoidal sinus, which was found 44-year-old female. The case was treated external and internal ethmoidectomy.
So, we present this case with a brief review of the literatures.
