요약

Billroth(1873)에 의하여 후두적출술의 개념 이 확립되었고 이로부터 후두암에 대한 적극 적인 치료방법이 시작되었으나 인류 특유의 의사전달 수단인 언어가 상실되는 문제는 아 직까지 이비인후과 영역에 있어서 해결하여야 할 커다란 과제 중의 하나라 할 수 있다.
