Abstract
Neurilemmona is relatively uncommon, slowly growing benign lesion which originate from the Schwann cell sheath of the nerve fibers.
A neurilemmoma may be originated from all kinds of cranial and peripheral nerves, but 25 〜 45% of all neurilemmoma was originated in the vicinity of the head and neck.
We experienced a case of neurilemmoma of the neck. The tumor was completely removed under local anesthesia via lateral neck approach and was verified histopathologically as neurilemmoma of the neck.
