요약

코골이나 수면무호흡증(OSA) 환자는 구강내 장치(sleep splint-SS, mandible advancement device-MAD, mandible repositioning appliance-MRA)를 사용하여 상기도 기계적 확장을 유도함으로써 증상을 쉽게 개선할 수도 있다. 전통적으로 치과 구강내 장치는 수면 중에도 하악골이 전방으로 유도된 위치에서 유지되도록, 상하악 전체 치아들과 구강내 장치가 맞물리도록 제작된다.
