요약

수면 중 상기도의 부분적 또는 완전한 협착으로 인하 여 빈번한 혈중산소농도의 감소와 각성이 발생되는 폐쇄 성수면무호흡증은 주간졸리움, 만성 피로, 집중력 저하, 인지 또는 정신 장애 등을 포함하는 증상들을 발생시키 며 이러한 현상이 지속되는 경우 고혈압, 부정맥, 뇌졸증, 당뇨 등과 같은 심각한 합병증뿐만 아니라 교통사고, 산 업재해와 같은 이차적인 사고를 유발할 수 있다.
