갑상선 유두상암 환자에서 발생한 피부근육염 1예

Dermatomyositis is an idiopathic inflammatory disorder of the skin and the muscles. It is often associated with malignancy but causal relationship is uncertain. The commonly associated tumors are ovarian, lung, prostate, nasopharyngeal, and gastrointestinal cancers. The association with thyroid papillary carcinoma is rarely reported. We report a case of dermatomyositis associated with thyroid papillary carcinoma which was effectively treated with the resection of the primary malignancy. (J Clinical Otolaryngol 2007;18:86–88)
