ABSTRACT

Lymphoepithelioma like carcinoma (LELC) of the salivary gland is a rather rare tumor and is characterized histologically by non-keratinizing, undifferentiated squamous cell crcinoma with lymphocytic infiltration. A nasopharygeal examination is indicaed in patient with salivary gland LELC to exclude the possibility of coexisting or metastatic NPC. The association of Epstein-Barr virus with this tumor remain unclear. We report a case of lymphoepihelioma like parotid gland carcinoma. (J Clinical Otolaryngol 2006;17:124-127)
