요약

점진적인 청각소실, 간헐적인 현훈 그리고 이명 등의 특징적인 주증상에 의한 임상적인 병이라고 Dr. Meniere 가 기술하였던 메니에르병은, Pfaltz는 주증상을 가진 환 자의 전형적인 병력에 의해 특징 지워지는 임상적인 이 신경학적 질환으로, Schuknecht는 병리생리학적 현상이 라는 견해이지만, 현재는 메니에르병이 내이의 장애에 의한 말초 기관의 질환이라는 개념으로 이해되고 있다.
