요약

임상적 N0 경부란 이학적 검사 및 방사선학적 검사 를 통하여 경부 전이림프절을 발견하지 못하는 경우를 말하며 술 후 조직검사를 통하여 발견 될 경우 잠복전 이라 말한다. 두경부에 발생한 편평세포암종의 N0 경부 치료에 대해서는 현재까지도 논란이 많은데 첫째, 잠복 전이에 대한 예방적 치료를 할 것인가 또는 추적 관찰 후 전이 림프절이 발생하면 치료를 할 것인가 둘째, 예 방적 치료를 한다면 어떤 경우에, 어떤 방법으로, 어느 범위까지 시행할 것인가 하는 것이다.
