요약

폐쇄성 수면무호흡증은 많은 합병증을 동반하며 특 히 심혈관계에 치명적인 질환을 유발할 수 있다는 점에 서 최근 그 치료의 중요성에 주목하고 있다. 1970년대 후반부터 수면무호흡증의 발생기전에 대한 다양한 연 구가 있었으며 많은 유발인자가 복합적으로 연관되어 발생한다는 사실을 알게 되었다.
