ABSTRACT
Nasopharyngeal angiofibroma is an uncommon tumor of the nasopharynx usually involving nasal cavity, paranasal sinus and pterygomaxillary space. It is found mainly in pre or puberscent male. Even though the tumor is histologically benign, its locally extensive nature and high vascularity have contributed to significant morbidity and mortality.
Recently, the authors experienced a case of huge nasopharyngeal angiofibroma in 17 years old male patient and successfully treated by external ethmoidectomy, lateral rhinotomy and Caldwell luc’s approach. The authors report this case with review of literatures.
