ABSTRACT

Tracheopathia osteoplastica is a extremely rare, benign pathologic condition involving the trachea and main bronchi, characterized by the occurrence of numerous cartilageous and bony nodules within the tissues of the submucosa. Clinical diagnosis can be made by CT and bronchoscopic finding.

Most of reported cases showed lesions in the trachea. We experienced a case of tracheopathia osteoplastica involving larynx with chief complaint of hoarseness and cough. The characteristic bronchoscopic and CT findings was showed in this case. We report this case with the review of literature.
