ABSTRACT

Pleomorphic adenoma is the most frequent benign tumor in the major salivary glands, especially in the parotid gland. It can also occurs infrequently in the palate, tongue, lips, cheek, and upper respiratory tract.

Recently, authors experienced a case of pleomorphic adenoma arising in the right side of the soft palate, which was protruding to the nasopharynx and causing right choanal obstruction, and removed it completely with the modified transpalatal approach without postoperative complications.
