요약

1861 년에 Prosper Meniere가 난청, 현훈 및 이명을 특징적 증상으로 나타내는 Meniere병 이 내이의 장애에 의하여 일어나는 현상이라고 처음 보고한 이후 많은 연구가 현재까지 진행 되어 왔으나 Meniere병에 대한 정의, 병리소견 및 병인에 대해 여러 학자들간의 의견의 일치 가 아직도 나타나지 않고 있는 실정이다.
