요약

성대에 분포하는 신경의 말초적 혹은 중추적 손상에 의해 성대의 기능이 손상되었을 경우, 이전에는 약물의 주입이나 수술적 처치와 같은 의학적 처치가 주류를 이 루었다. 최근 국내에서, 음성장애에 대한 비수술적 치료 방법인 음성치료의 인식이 확산되면서 서서히 성대 마 비에 대한 음성치료의 고려도 증가하는 추세이다. 그러 나, 아직 대부분의 음성치료는 성대결절이나 만성 후두 염 등, 음성과다 사용에 의한 음성장애에 대해서 이루 어질 뿐, 성대 마비에 대한 음성치료의 사례는 극히 미 약한 실태이다.
