ABSTRACT

Tuberculosis of tonsil was relatively uncommon disease in the past, but it has become rare disease with the advent of effective antituberculous chemotherapy. We have recently seen a case of tuberculosis of the palatine tonsil which was thought to had developed secondary to pulmonary tuberculosis. We present the one case of the tuberculosis of the palatine tonsil with literature reviews.
