요약

이비인후과 영역에서의 레이저는 19기년 Jako¹⁷⁾가 CO₂ 레이저를 이용한 동물실험을 거 친후 후두질환에서 부터 사용되기 시작하였 다²⁷⁾. 그후 20여년간 이비인후과 영역의 비과와 이과 영역에서도 광범위하게 쓰이게 되었으며, 우리나라에서는 김 등²⁾에 의해 1982년에 처음 이비인후과영역에 도입되어 현재 널리 사용되 고 있다.
