ABSTRACT
Mucocele is a cystic swelling of the frontal sinus, ethmoid sinus or fronto-ethmoid sinus which retains seromucoid secretion within an initially epithelium-lined space, and an infected mucocele is termed pyocele.
They occur in relation to the blockage of the natural sinus ostium.
We experienced 1 case of ethmoid pyocele.
The case was treated with Caldwell-Luc’s operation and intranasal ethmoidectomy,we obtained good result.
Thus, we present this case with a brief review of the literature.
